In short
Every price on PredictRips's odds pages is public Polymarket market data, read every few minutes and printed with the time it was taken. A price in cents is the market's chance in percent (the midpoint of the best bid and ask). PredictRips does not set event odds; it sells packs priced at these market prices, with a disclosed house edge of about 10%.

Sources
Market prices, volume and liquidity: Polymarket's public market data (the Gamma API), read-only, no account.
Which markets packs can deal: PredictRips's own draw pool, the live list of markets packs draw from.
Bitcoin spot price (on the Bitcoin page only): Coinbase's public spot price.
Headlines next to political markets: public news feeds, matched to the market by its title and linked to the publisher.
How a number is computed
Chance: the midpoint of the best bid and best ask when the order book has both; otherwise the venue's last listed price. 62¢ reads as 62%.
Payout multiple: $1 divided by the price (25¢ pays 4x). Decimal odds: 1 ÷ chance. American odds: −(p ÷ (1 − p)) × 100 for favourites, +((1 − p) ÷ p) × 100 for underdogs.
24-hour move: the venue's own one-day price change, in points.
The Bitcoin 50/50 price: where the "above X" ladder for a date crosses 50%, interpolated between the two nearest levels.
Volume is all-time traded on the market or event; 24h volume is the last day only.
Freshness and timestamps
Market, hub and daily pages rebuild about every 5 minutes; the big-question list about every 15 minutes.
Every page states when its prices were taken, in UTC. If the live feed is down, a page says it is showing cached prices and drops out of search results until the feed is back.
What we publish and index
A market page is indexed only when it is a main market (not a spread, total or exact score), still open and has at least $25k traded or $50k of liquidity.
A big-question page is indexed from $1M traded, open and more than 12 hours from closing; it is listed from $2M.
Daily pages are indexed only on days with enough live data (for example 3+ games for a league). Thin days still render for visitors, marked noindex.
Pack value and the house edge
Each pack is priced so its expected market value at open is about 90% of the price: a house edge of about 10%.
Held to the result, a pack returns about 89% on average; an instant cash-out of a fresh pack about 74%. A cash-out pays about 85% of the live bid in USDC, or 92% as pack credit.
These figures come from the engine's published pack terms, the same numbers the shop shows before you pay. Per-pack tier odds are on the odds and RTP page; fees are on the fees page.
Each card's tier roll is provably fair: committed before you buy and verifiable after (how to verify).
Limitations
A market price is the traders' view, not a forecast by PredictRips. Thin markets can be moved by one trader, and long shots tend to be overpriced.
Between refreshes a live price can move; the page's timestamp is the time that matters.
Resolution is the venue's: each market settles on the source in its own rules, linked from its page.
How to cite

FAQ
Where does PredictRips get its odds?+
From public Polymarket market data: the order book's best bid and ask, the last traded prices, volume and liquidity, read every few minutes. PredictRips does not set the odds of any event.
How is a price turned into a chance?+
A share pays $1 if its outcome happens, so its price in cents is the market's chance in percent. We use the midpoint of the best bid and ask when the order book has both, else the venue's last price.
How fresh are the numbers?+
Pages rebuild about every 5 minutes, and every page prints the time its prices were taken. The list of big questions refreshes about every 15 minutes.
Can I quote these numbers?+
Yes, with the source and the time: "PredictRips, "Bitcoin price odds today", https://predictrips.com/odds/today/bitcoin, prices as of 2 Nov 2026, 21:23 UTC, from Polymarket market data." Prices change constantly, so a number without its time is out of date.
