Is PredictRips legit and fair? Odds, house edge and proof, explained
In short
1. The odds are published first
Every pack lists its tier odds (how likely a Favorite, Mid or Long shot card is) and its expected value before you pay. The full tables are on the odds and return-to-player page.
2. The prices are not ours
A card's price is the live price of a public Polymarket market, and it settles on that market's result. You can open the source market and check both. PredictRips does not set the odds of the event, and does not decide who wins.
3. The tier roll is provably fair
Before you buy, you see a SHA-256 hash of a secret server seed. Each card's tier is rolled from HMAC-SHA256 of that seed, your own client seed and a counter. When you rotate seeds, the old server seed is revealed and you can recompute every roll. Which market fills a tier comes from the live pool and is not part of the proof.
4. The house edge is disclosed
Pack value at open is about 90% of the price; held to the result a pack returns about 89% on average; an instant cash-out about 74%. That gap is how PredictRips makes money, and it is shown, not hidden in the odds.
